The location was perfect, and the view was stunning from one of our rooms. The hotel was very clean & fresh. Access to the beach and to the England Coast trail is immediate. The front lawn was very nice for children to play on. Use of the nearby pool & spa was a bonus. It is an easy walk to the center of Seahouses & to the boat trips.

Quiet & peaceful all amenities close by e.g. restaurants shops post office which I needed, posted a parcel for sister's birthday which arrived the following day...happy days. The bed was comfortable. Small fridge which kept our milk cold enough for cereal in the morning.

It looks nice and was comfortable but was expensive for the actual quality of the apartment advertised. No breakfast is provided by the butcher even though the link referred to one being supplied. Unfortunately the fridge and shower did not work correctly and the customer is required to strip the beds after their stay. More suitable for AirBNB than Booking.com.

Seahouses is a fishing town with a number of shops to have a wander round. There are plenty of places to eat, mostly on the expensive side though the food is good. There is crazy golf but more importantly a fantastic beach. There are sea trips out to sea seals and birds and fishing trips as well.

The house is accessible to everyone with really good facilities, comfortable seating, the biggest dining table ever seen and really well-appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. There is even a quiet mezzanine area for tucking yourself away with a book! Outside there is a large terrace with seating and beyond a big green space. There is real peace here accompanied by the sound of numerous birds in the trees. Lovely.
We walked to Bamburgh, drove round to Lindisfarne and another day to Alnwick gardens (their Treehouse Restaurant is top notch.) Beadnell is worth a visit plus their Craster Arms pub, and so is Craster itself with its smoke house and a stroll to Dunstanburgh castle as a treat.
And there's lots more places to explore next year!

I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991!
I have been to Seahouses almost every year since 1991! I have also been almost all round the British coast, and nowhere beats Northumberland. Seahouses has a perfect mix of scenery, wildlife, entertainment, shops and is very friendly and unpretentious. A great place in it's own right and a great base for the rest of the coast and county. Even after over 25 visits I'm not bored of it! So much to see, do and enjoy. A must-do is a boat trip to The Farnes - ideally with Serenity as these are the best trips with nice knowledgable staff.

Beautiful working harbour adorned with lobster pods, plenty of day trips to visit Farne island, fish or drive. Lots of independent shops which is nice to see but best of all a great choice of eateries for breakfast, lunch and evening with the quality first class. The fish& chips were so tasty and the Italian was so atmospheric with such flavoursome food also you can walk everywhere easily
The property is excellent clean, up to date and homely.
Within 10 mins you can be in Bamburgh within 30 mins you can be in Alnwick ( Harry Potter Castle) and there is sooo much more you can do in the area.
The location is excellent for walks and all amenities. If you like golf Seahouses Golf course will not disappoint the 10th hole is my favourite.
If you like fishing there are soo many options. The village is excellent with plenty to do for families and great pubs for those that like a drink.
Very comfortable bed and breakfast with very friendly and helpful hosts. I stayed with my daughter on a trip back from Scotland and we came via Seahouses to see the puffins on a Farne Islands boat trip. We loved meeting Donna and Paul. They are hosts who clearly greatly enjoyed meeting their guests. Huge and delicious breakfast. Good attention to guest preferences, eg. Donna provided me with a flask of oat milk for tea in the room when I said I was dairy intolerant. You never get this in hotels!
Beautiful view from the pub and the room, the restaurant/bar had lots of nicely arranged seating and a lovely outdoor area.
The bedroom was very big and I'm sure the bed was superkingsize! The ensuite was modern and clean. The room had a balcony which overlooked the harbour and because there were lots of large windows in the room, you could wake up to a Seaview
The staff were very friendly and helpful too both with the room booking and behind the bar
Breakfast was lovely too
Perfect location in Seahouses. Traditional pub with delicious food & attentive, friendly staff. Great choice at breakfast, can recommend the local kippers.
Wonderful views of the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle & Lindisfarne. Perfect base for touring the area.
Comfortable room on the top corridor, a bit of a climb up the narrow staircase but it is an old building. If you have mobility issues I am sure other rooms are available
Lovely accommodation. We were at the back of the house, the room was very clean, had everything we could need and was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Suzanne was very nice, friendly and attentive, nothing was a bother in terms of topping up any requirements for the rooms and giving advice about the area. Great location within 2 minutes walking distance of the main shops, 5 minutes from the harbour.
Great location for ease of getting to amenities and visiting other areas. Fabulous view. Quiet. Very clean and well equipped. Reasonably priced. Spacious. Separate lounge, dining room and conservatory allowed for us to read/play a game without disturbing someone watching TV. Lovely walks from the house. Golfers can walk to Seahouses Golf course as it is right next door.
Ideally situated for visiting all the attractions in the area..Very well set up for anyone wanting to enjoy the great outdoors. Very dog and bicycle friendly with dog wash facilities and bike storage. Exceptionally clean room, comfy bed, a nice restaurant with views across to the beach and very helpful friendly staff. Looking forward to coming back!
Great little holiday let - very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Right next to a bakery, butchers, Co-op and several restaurants. Really appreciated little things like tea, coffee, sugar and dishwasher tablets being provided! Lovely base for exploring the area for a family of four.
Really nice clean & tidy spacious apartment. Excellent kitchen area & lounge. Beautiful bathroom with an amazing shower. Comfortable bed. The apartment is in a brilliant location in Seahouses close to pubs and restaurants & everything Seahouses has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay & will definitely recommend
The house is very comfortable and has everything in it you could possibly need. It was a two minute walk to the harbour, shops and pubs. Couldn't have got a better location for us and the added bonus of being a lovely quiet area. We would highly recommend to anyone and we are hoping to return later in the year.
Outstanding location overlooking the harbour at Seahouses, the village is only seconds away with all of the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.
We spent our time walking to Bamburgh Castle along the beach and exploring all that the area had to offer.
A perfect weekend retreat.
Rooms were clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Staff were very accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much to ask for. The steak night was lovely would definitely recommend. 10 minute walk to seahouses so excellent location.
Everything from arrival to departure was perfect. Wilf and Kate were lovely hosts and we would certainly recommend Wyndgrove House for a stay in Seahouses.
Car parking on site was a bonus.
Hopefully be back soon.
Lovely cosy and clean cottage. Wood burning stove was a lovely addition. Bathroom was very warm and spacious and lots of hot water. Short drive to great beaches and to village shop. Dog friendly.
Excellent location, just a short walk to local pubs, restaurants, shops the harbour. Ideally placed for day trips to Bamburgh, Holy island, Farne islands etc. Spacious and clean property.
The cleanliness of the room was very good and the staff were helpful and pleasant. The Hotel location was also good in relation to walking into the centre of Seahouses.
