Breakfast was very good
Room was unpleasantly hot when the afternoon sun shone on the 4 windows. There was no air conditioning.
Bar menu dinner was good also, but restaurant menu did not appeal and the portions huge

Third year we have stayed there as location excellent and very near bus routes . Also very clean with daily service of the room if you wanted it. Bed very comfortable and three out of the four rooms had been updated.

The location, the staff, the breakfast and the decor were very good. The rooms were very comfortable and clean.
Beautiful scenery! The side road around the little harbor is totally quiet and starting point for beautiful coastal walks. Fort Aubin causeway is also exciting to walk.
The beautiful beach is just a short walk away. Lovely and very well-serviced promenade to St. Helier, also offering a cycling lane.
Very nice pubs, cafés and restaurants. We had dinner at Sorrento, Noya Shapla and Sugar Banana, which were all excellent.
Frequent and on time bus services to St. Helier, St. Brelade, Corbière, L‘Etaq and the airport.

There’s a Indian restaurant opposite the harbour it’s quite pricy but the food is amazing
We also ate at the Tenby pub on seafront food good there to we found you had to book a table most places were booked up
All in all fantastic break
Perfect location with spectacular views. Very welcoming family owners and staff. Room was great with large bed, large TV, fridge and safe. En suite bathroom was large with bathrobes, slippers and lovely toiletries. Large rainfall shower. Nothing was to much trouble for the hotel team. Breakfast was amazing, continental followed by a wide selection from a menu, all cooked fresh and to perfection, fresh coffee and daily specials offered and to top it off you ate overlooking the bay, wonderful.
The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We were met with a warm welcome from Alison, who showed us around the hotel and recommended a great walk in the area. Location is excellent - quiet but just around the corner from the harbour, shops and bus stop. The breakfast was excellent. The room and bed were very comfortable, and the view over the harbour was amazing! Thank you for a lovely stay. Would recommend.
The location is excellent - very close to St Aubin with great views across the bay. Our sea view room had an excellent view. The staff were brilliant - friendly and attentive. We had a slightly awkward journey (flight problems) and the greeting we received really lifted our spirits. The hotel building is a charming manor house in the "French" style - and our room was tastefully decorated to match.
The setting was peaceful, well kept and not at all crowded. We stayed in a cottage which was comfortable and well equipped. We sat in the garden with a glass of wine and watched red squirrels run up the trees. We had the use of the hotel facilities, with superb food, lovely staff and even a pool. Excellent value for money and we would recommend Hotel la place without reservation.
The hotel location was great, very near to bus stops, and buses were a great way to get around the island. Cannot fault the staff, very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant below the hotel was very good. Some rooms have a sea view but if the tide is out, view not so good
Right in front of bay. Short walk to bike rental. Restaurant below was exceptional. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Always offering to help. Arranged transport to airport. Left us breakfast when we had to leave early for airport.
Room was a decent size, bed was huge. Had a good sea view. Food in the hotel was amazing, breakfast kept us going the whole day. Location was excellent, away from the main roads but only a short walk to all the restaurants and shops.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful overlooking the harbour. The food at the hotel in the evenings was wonderful. The breakfasts were good but the addition of a fruit option would have been nice
Great location great historical place. Restaurant looked great but due to the time of the year not enough staff we had to eat in the bar food was poor. Staff were good breakfast in hotel excellent we would go back
We had a really good experience, staff in the hotel were excellent. First time staying in the Old Court House a great choice.
St Aubin a fantastic hub for a short stay on the island.
