A lovely cottage (actually a converted church) with an old exterior but modern and very spacious on the inside. We did not miss a thing for a very comfortable stay.

Carlisle Central, Cute Studio Appt, The Cupboard; Carlisle'da Thirlwall Kalesi'ne 33 km, Brougham Kalesi'ne 38 km ve Whinfell Ormanı'na 44 km uzaklıkta yer almaktadır. The place was clean, in an excellent location for looking around the town, shopping and the train station. We came by train and used this place as a base for travelling to the Lakes District, taking the train around the Cumbrian Coast as well as going to look around Lancaster. The Cupboard provided a wonderful base to complete these activities, as well as looking around Carlisle itself. A bonus was the fact that, not only did the host leave chocolates and wine when we arrived, there was also milk in the fridge for a cup of tea or coffee and washing powder for use in the washing machine. Not many places are that considerate of their guest's needs.

Beautiful cottage, beautifully decorated, everything provided! And the host was very helpful - answered all our questions and made us feel very welcome. Loved the fireplace. It was already prepared and just had to lit it, the wood was enough to last us all evening. All throughout the cottage there were beautiful Christmas decorations that made us feel very festive and homely. The beds very out of this world! Extremely comfortable, with extra duvets and pillows provided. The view at the back was lovely, and bird feeders attracted a lot of little birdies that we enjoyed watching whilst having breakfast. Also, there are plenty of leaflets and maps at the cottage to pick the best hiking routes. Will definitely come back next year!

Windermere Gölü'ne yaklaşık 29 kilometre mesafede yer alan Lake District Log Cabins, balkonlu ve dağ manzaralı bir konaklama birimidir. The location and cabin were incredible. Our hosts went out of their way to help us. We had an incident where the tire of our rental car blew out leaving us without access to a shop and no food in the cabin. They kindly provided us with a lasagne from their freezer which genuinely saved the evening for us.

World of Beatrix Potter'a yaklaşık 1,5 km uzaklıkta yer alan bahçe manzaralı Rockside - Luxury 1 bedroom home with hot tub central, parking pet friendly hot tub turn off 930pm bahçeli ve verandalı bir... The house was beautiful, loved the decor and had all the facilities you needed. The hot tub was lovely to use, especially after a long day of exploring. Kept updated by the host by messages and got all the instructions for the stay and top tips for the area. Would definitely stay again.
